Carbon Nanotubes

CAS No.: 1333-86-4

Density: 2.1 g/cm3

Molecular formula: CNTs

Molecular weight: 12.01

Carbon nanotube product features:

Carbon nanotubes have good mechanical properties. The tensile strength of CNTs reaches 50~200GPa, which is 100 times that of steel, but the density is only 1/6 of steel, at least one order of magnitude higher than conventional graphite fibers; its elastic modulus can reach 1TPa, which is equivalent to the elastic modulus of diamond and about 5 times that of steel.

Application:

Nanotube Carbon (CNTs) is a revolutionary material prominently utilized in various fields, particularly in the development of transparent conductive films. These films serve as a superior alternative to traditional materials such as Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) in touch screen applications. There are two primary types of carbon nanotubes: single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), each offering distinct properties that can be harnessed depending on the application.

In previous methodologies, scientists have employed powdered carbon nanotubes to create a solution for direct coating onto substrates like PET or glass. However, this approach has not yet transitioned into large-scale production. The technological advancements in the synthesis of carbon nanotubes, particularly the superaligned carbon nanotube (CNT) technology, have successfully enabled the mass production of high-quality films.

Our Nanotube Carbon products provide exceptional conductivity, mechanical strength, and flexibility, making them essential for various applications in electronics, energy storage, and nanotechnology. With an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation, we invite you to experience the cutting-edge advantages of carbon nanotubes—both single-walled and multi-walled—ideal for your next project.
